How To Reduce Your Dog's Separation Anxiety
Many dogs have separation anxiety in their lives. So how do you know if your dog suffers from separation anxiety? Well, most dogs who suffer from separation anxiety eat during their absence. Normally, however, they do not chew randomly but choose the items they own or wear their perfume. Dogs who spend a lot of time next to their owner at home are usually the most devastating 20 minutes after they leave. Other signs of separation from your Poochie friend include: urinating or pooping several times in unsuitable places in the house, the dog does not seem to feel guilty when the items are destroyed and it can become sticky and you need your attention when you go home are
What can you do after discovering the problem of separation anxiety in your dog? Well, for starters, you can do things against yourself. By that I mean, just play with your dog whenever you want, not when the dog wants it. Try to give your dog more exercise. Wear it when straining your dog during exercise. If you leave the house, this is less harmful. Now I know that it is difficult to find time to do sports. Fortunately, there are other ways to make your dog's time less devastating.
The first thing you should not do is punish your dog. They probably do not understand why they will be punished anyway and they will only feel worse. Your dog must feel loved and needs a lot of positive attention. Never punish your dog for what he did wrong when out of the house. During your absence, try to do something for your dog to make his time more productive at home. Give them a new chew toy or a Kong filled with peanut butter and a bone. Also take the time to teach your dog their own "exit signs". Leaving signs is like grabbing the keys and putting on the shoes. If you do that, you will leave the house for a short time so that you understand what is coming back. You also need to find out what causes your dog's anxiety. If you catch and dress your coat, repeat this process until your dog's anxiety diminishes. Repetition helps your dog cope with it soon.
If all this does not work for your dog, consider having a dog daycare or examining your dog. In some cases, the level of anxiety of the dog is severe. They can eat on walls and even injure themselves. If this is the case, you really need to make sure that your dog does enough physical and mental exercise.
These are some of the most important things to learn stop separation anxiety your dog. If you want to train your dog successfully, you must always be patient and persistent.
