Life Stages Dog Crates - An Easy Way to Potty Train a Puppy
All my dogs have been rescued from shelters, some like puppies, some from adults. Everyone had behavioral problems and no one was trained your dog to go to the bathroom. If you're like me, you have carpets or hardwood floors that you do not want to hurt by animal accidents. An article offers exactly what I need to easily train a puppy or dog: a metal cage made of life segments.
It can be difficult to bring a puppy to the bathroom. It takes a lot of patience and dedication, because puppies are full of energy and tend to have a small bubble and a short attention span. The key to cleanliness training is consistency. Develop a calendar and stick to it!
Take your puppy regularly. Puppies go to the bathroom 5 to 10 minutes after eating or waking up. Always take them outside after dinner.
Start training on the day you receive your puppy to use the bathroom. Choose a place where you always bring your puppy to the toilet to help with training. Do not forget to encourage and congratulate every time you leave the bathroom.
Accidents happen If your puppy can not get out and get inside, do not punish him. Just clear up the mess and get it out. Praise, when they leave.
Using a cage is the best way to get your puppy to the bathroom because dogs are ghost animals who do not like sleeping in the place where they use the bathroom. Your cage should not be big enough for your puppy to stand up, roll and lie down comfortably. If your cage is too big, your puppy will use one sleeping area and the other as a bathing area.
Over the years, I've found that the best boxes are single-tier wire boxes. The cable boxes provide your puppy with excellent visibility and airflow, so he can safely work with his family. If your puppy likes to hide, you can put a dog cage cover completely or partially on the cage.
The Life Stage boxes come with a box separator that saves you a lot of money, as you only need to buy a box that is the right size for your puppy's adult size. The divider is used to reduce the size of the box to the size of your puppy. As your puppy grows, move the divider to increase your habitat.
Wire boxes are also easy to clean, which is very important if you have a new puppy. The sides of the cables can be cleaned with a cloth, and the plastic shell covering the bottom can be removed for complete cleaning.
The cleanliness of a puppy is not an immediate workout. It takes time for your dog to experience what is expected of him, but it is well laid out and can be minimized through the use of a box and positive reinforcement.
